The town  of Sapareva banya is located in Rila mountain, 75 km to the capital (Sofia city) and 56 km to Kustendil town. Sapareva banya town is famous for its thermal  springs with unique healing properties.The mineral water is one of the hottest in Europe, 103 degrees centigrade.

In the centre of the town gushes the unique geyser in the Balkan peninsula.
